The Laboratories of the TES Group

The Laboratory of Fluid Machines and Energy Systems, funded in 1974, is a centre of scientific excellence in research and development of hydraulic machines, specializing in performance validation, hydrodynamics, cavitation, hydro acoustics, numerical simulations and advanced measurement techniques.

Laboratory of Hydraulic Machines

The TES Laboratories focus the activities around three major fields:

Education

Education

Teaching activities to provide a high quality education to engineering students in the field of hydrodynamics applied to hydraulic machines and energy systems.

Research and Lab Testing

Specializing in performance validation, hydrodynamics, cavitation, hydro acoustics, and numerical simulation.

Test Rigs:

Hydraulic Machine Experimental Platforms.

Pump Facilities.

Cavitation Research Facility

Pelton Research Facility.

Research

Consulting Services

Experimental validations, according to IEC and ISO standards, of models and prototype.

Independent expertise and on-site measurements.
