SAVE THE DATE – ‘EERA/SmILES’ workshop on Hybrid Energy and Energy Storage Systems

The EERA-SmiLES Workshop on Hybrid energy and energy storage systems will be held in Brussels from 13.00 on 14 November to 13.00 on 15 November.

This is the third workshop in the series of workshops to promote a discussion between industries, policy makers, research institutes and universities on the hybrid energy and energy storage systems. The first workshop was organized by EERA Joint Program on Energy Storage in San Sebastian in March 2017 with the aim of analysing the combination of the different renewable generation sources as well as storage technologies, how they can fit together and how they can be integrated in the electricity grid or in smart grids to enhance their performance. The second workshop was jointly organised by EERA and the “Onsite project in Rome in September 2017 with the objective of continuing the discussion started in the first workshop with an in-depth focus on the benchmarking requirements, scenarios for the future, European perspectives and on market opportunities.
