W.E.S Turner Award

During the  39th Şişecam International Glass Conference in Venice Prof. Massimo Guglielmi received the prestigious ICG Turner Award from ICG Vice President Dr. Erik Muijsenberg. The award is assigned by the International Commission of Glass for excellence in glass science.

International Sol-Gel conference Berlin 2024

From September 1st to September 6th, 2024, the 22nd International Sol-Gel Conference took place in Berlin, Germany. Our group was represented by Prof. Alessandro Martucci, along with our post-docs Dr. Elena Colusso, Dr. Carlotta Micale, and Dr. Maria Basso, as well as our PhD student Lorenzo Facco, who all presented their research.

2023 ISGS Renata Reisfeld PhD Student Fellowship

The ISGS Renata Reisfeld PhD Student Fellowship for Women in Sol-Gel Science and Technology for 2023 has been awarded to our PhD student, Maria Basso, for her outstanding work on sol-gel VO2 films. Congratulations, Maria! The award ceremony took place during the Sol-Gel Conference in Berlin.

Gusmano award

ICACC 2023

Starting this Sunday and following to the next week (22nd to 27th of January 2023), the the 47th International Conference and Exposition on Advanced Ceramics and Composites (ICACC) will take place at the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort and Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Dr Elena Colusso will present her work with an invited presentation.
