CEN/TC126 Plenary Meeting at the DII, 8-11 April 2025

The Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padova will host the CEN/TC126 Plenary Meeting and the WG2/WG7 meetings.

The meetings will be held from 8 to 11 April 2025.

The CEN/TC126 task is to develop technical standards for the acoustic properties of building elements and buildings.
Standardization activities in this sector include laboratory methods, rating of acoustic properties of elements, field measurement methods, rating of acoustic properties of buildings, and methods for determining the acoustic performance of buildings from the performance of its components.

The WG2 topic is predicting the acoustic performance of buildings from the performance of elements. WG7 aims to define methods for the laboratory measurement of airborne and structure-borne sound from building equipment.
