SolGel 2026 Conference

The 23rd International Sol-Gel Conference has taken place from 31 August to 4 September 2026 at the Instituto Superior Técnico (Técnico) of the University of Lisbon.
It was a great pleasure for our research group to take part with several oral and poster contributions.

The conference was a valuable opportunity to share our latest research, exchange ideas, and discuss new perspectives in the field of sol-gel science. But, perhaps even more importantly, it was a wonderful occasion to meet again with alumni of our group, reconnect with old friends and colleagues, and establish new collaborations and relationships.
And, of course, science was not the only highlight! We also enjoyed some time together exploring the city, with a boat trip along the Tagus and an unforgettable Fado evening.

A big thank you to the Sol-Gel community and the organizers of SolGel 2026 for bringing us together once again!
