The Space Debris Group (SDG) is part of the FLIGHTDS research group. The investigated topics include space debris modelling, fragmentation analysis, protection and detection systems development, and studies for a safe and sustainable exploitation of near-Earth orbits.
Every year, personnel from the SDG participates to the Inter-Agency Debris coordination Committee (IADC) as part of the ASI delegation (WG3 – Protection).
