A spin-off was set up in 2014 for technology transfer. Technology for Propulsion and Innovation S.p.a (T4i) is currently one of the major SMEs in Europe aimed at developing thrusters for mini and micro satellites. The world-wide-uniqueness of T4I lies in its wide and various technology portfolio which spans from cold gas and electric thrusters to mono/bi- propellant and hybrid rockets. This is the result of the extensive theoretical and experimental research activity performed in more than X years at the University of Padua. T4i also offers a good opportunity for education and training of graduate and PhD students which can follow training programs and perform thesis work within the enterprise.
