Welcome to the website of the Computational Materials Science Group, part of the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Padua.

Our research lies at the intersection of computational materials science and mechanics. We develop, use, and combine computational modeling techniques to understand and predict the behavior of materials across multiple scales, from the nanoscale to the macroscale.

Our research has been supported by the European Research Council (ERC Consolidator Grants StruBa and FricLess), the Dutch Technology Foundation (STW), the Dutch Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter (FOM), and the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Padua.
