  • 2024: Francesco Destro is the recipient of the 2024 EFCE Excellence Award” for outstanding PhD Thesis. The title of his Thesis is “Digitalizing pharmaceutical development and manufacturing: advanced mathematical modeling for operation design, process monitoring and process control”.
  • 2023: AIDIC (Italian Association of Chemical Engineering) Award for best Italian PhD Theses: 2nd prize awarded to Francesco Destro for his Thesis: “Digitalizing pharmaceutical development and manufacturing: advanced mathematical modeling for operation design, process monitoring and process control”.
  • 2020: AIDIC (Italian Association of Chemical Engineering) Award for best Italian Master’s Theses: 3rd prize awarded to Francesco Destro for his Thesis “Development of a phenomenological model of an adsorption process for capturing CO2 from air”.
