{"id":614,"date":"2019-08-27T22:34:25","date_gmt":"2019-08-27T20:34:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.dii.unipd.it\/tes\/?p=614"},"modified":"2019-08-27T22:35:21","modified_gmt":"2019-08-27T20:35:21","slug":"converting-waste-heat-into-electricity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.dii.unipd.it\/tes\/2019\/08\/27\/converting-waste-heat-into-electricity\/","title":{"rendered":"Converting waste heat into electricity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Can nanofluids increase the performance of ORC systems?\u00a0Is it possible to extract additional heat thanks to innovative nanoparticles?<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/energyenvironment.pnnl.gov\/staff\/staff_info.asp?staff_num=506\">Peter McGrail<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pnnl.gov\/\">Pacific Northwest National Laboratory<\/a> we have experimentally determined the behaviour of the nanoparticle MIL101, a robust Metal Organic Heat Carrier, combined with the working fluid R245fa.
