What is the current state, and what are the prospects, of the renewed space race, in a scenario where private companies are playing an increasingly central role? And what risks arise from the growing number of objects crowding Earth\u2019s orbit?<\/p>\n

These crucial questions were addressed by Professor Alessandro Francesconi and Lorenzo Olivieri during their intervention on the TV program PresaDiretta<\/em><\/strong>, aired on Rai 3<\/strong> on September 14. In the interview, they discussed the challenges posed by the proliferation of satellites and debris in orbit and presented the research activities of the Space Debris Group<\/strong>, which is dedicated to developing solutions that can ensure the long-term safety of space operations.<\/p>\n
