This meeting followed the previous one, which took place in Rome in November 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The group presented the recent developments in the <strong>simulation of orbital breakups<\/strong> and shared the updates from the last <strong>Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC)<\/strong> meeting held at ESOC in March.\u00a0The event was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and coordinate efforts with other Italian research teams involved in the project, strengthening the national collaboration on the critical issue of space debris.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 10th and 11th, a delegation from the Space Debris Group (SDG), represented by Prof. Alessandro Francesconi, Dr. Lorenzo Olivieri and Nicol\u00f2 Trabacchin, took part in the advancement meeting of the ASI-INAF Space Debris project, held at the Asiago Observatory.
