This event represents an important annual milestone, offering a valuable opportunity to engage with both national and international aerospace communities and to share the group\u2019s most recent achievements.<\/p>\n<p>Space debris research today extends well beyond Earth\u2019s orbital environment. With the increasing interest in Lunar exploration, the focus is gradually shifting toward the <strong>cislunar domain<\/strong>. In this context, <strong data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"951\">Nicol\u00f2 Trabacchin<\/strong> presented his latest work, <em data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"1073\">\u201cSimulating the potential for an in-space fragmentation of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter\u201d<\/em>, highlighting the importance of expanding Space Situational Awareness (SSA) capabilities beyond Earth orbit. His paper received the <strong data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1246\">Best Paper Award in Flight Mechanics<\/strong>, a recognition to his work and to the relevance and impact of research in this emerging area.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1020 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/research.dii.unipd.it\/flightds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2025\/12\/1765279531034-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"403\" height=\"266\" srcset=\"https:\/\/research.dii.unipd.it\/flightds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2025\/12\/1765279531034-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/research.dii.unipd.it\/flightds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2025\/12\/1765279531034.jpg 741w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 403px) 100vw, 403px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Remaining in the lunar environment, <strong>Lorenzo Olivieri<\/strong> presented the recent advances of the <strong data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1546\">GLAMS project<\/strong>, developed for the Italian Space Agency (ASI), at the Moon Village Association Symposium.<\/p>\n<p>The group also contributed to the broader space exploration domain with additional presentations:<br data-start=\"1735\" data-end=\"1738\" \/>\u2013 <strong data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1760\">Lorenzo Olivieri<\/strong> showcased <em data-start=\"1771\" data-end=\"1834\">\u201cGeoScout: architecture for piggyback interplanetary CubeSat\u201d<\/em>, illustrating innovative mission concepts for small spacecraft.<br data-start=\"1898\" data-end=\"1901\" \/>\u2013 <strong data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1923\">Stefano Lopresti<\/strong> discussed the latest results of the <strong data-start=\"1960\" data-end=\"1981\">AlbaCubeSat UNIPD<\/strong> testing campaign conducted in ESA\u2019s facilities, through the paper <em data-start=\"2048\" data-end=\"2112\">\u201cEnvironmental Qualification Testing of AlbaCubeSat STM Model\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The group was also present at the <strong>CISAS<\/strong> stand within the Veneto Space Cluster during the <strong data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1451\">10th Aerospace &amp; Defence Meeting<\/strong>, held from the 2nd to the 4th of December in the nearby Oval Lingotto Centre.
