primary focus of our group\u2019s research is the synthesis of inorganic and organometallic compounds, the development of hybrid organic-inorganic materials, and the design of heterogeneous catalytic systems, including supported metal nanoparticles and single-atom or single-cluster catalysts (SACs and SCCs).<\/p> <h6 class=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 700\">Current research topics<\/span><\/h6><p class=\"\">\u2022 Synthesis of Pt(II), Pd(II), and Cu(II) complexes with chelating, bridging, and water-soluble ligands (phosphines, diphosphines, carbazones, etc.) for catalytic or biological applications\n<br><br>\n\u2022 Preparation of ion conducting polymers for energy applications\n<br><br>\u2022 Up-conversion of waste materials through green chemical processes\n<br><br>\u2022 Synthesis of magnetic nanoparticles for hyperthermia\n<br><br>\u2022 Preparation of nanocomposites based on graphene and graphitic carbon nitride for water decontamination through photocatalysis or adsorption\n<br><br>\n\u2022Mechanochemical synthesis of biomass-inspired heterogeneous catalysts: from supported nanoparticles to SACs and SCCs.\n<br><br>\u2022
