He earned his Master\u2019s degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Science and Engineering of Materials and Nanostructures from the University of Padova. He was also a visiting scientist at Hunter College of the City University of New York.\n<br><br>\nHis research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and lab-scale testing of electrode and electrolyte materials for next-generation lithium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, and aluminum secondary batteries, as well as redox flow batteries.
