The research at CHEMAMSE is focused on the preparation and characterization of materials for application in the field of energy. The materials are used to assemble prototype devices which are extensively characterized under operative conditions.<\/span>\n\n

The research work consists in a broad range of activities, including:\n

\u2022 Design of new materials starting from basic chemistry and physics concepts;
\n \u2022 Novel chemical synthesis and processing;
\n \u2022 Advanced materials characterization;
\n \u2022 Measurement of physical and chemical properties;
\n \u2022 Fabrication and evaluation of prototype devices;
\n \u2022 Development of a fundamental understanding of the structure-property-performance relationships of the materials.In particular, most of the research efforts are devoted to the synthesis and the study of materials for:
\n \u2022 Primary and secondary batteries;
\n \u2022 Fuel cells;
\n \u2022 Electrochemical supercapacitors;
\n \u2022 Field-effect transistors;
\n \u2022 Sensors;
\n \u2022 Actuators;
\n \u2022 Photo-electrochemical devices.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>
