These activities aim to develop, apply and disseminate the knowledge, theories and intervention techniques of the four research areas in which the group is divided: indoor environmental quality, applied acoustics, energy efficiency in buildings and urban energy systems.<\/p><\/div> <\/div> <div class=\"row center-xs middle-xs\"> <div class=\"col-sm-9\" data-type=\"column\"> <\/div> <\/div><\/div> <\/div><div data-label=\"Content\" data-id=\"content--2\" data-export-id=\"content-15\" data-category=\"content\" class=\"content-15 content-section content-section-spacing\" id=\"content-2\"><div class=\"gridContainer\"> <div class=\"row middle-sm\"><div class=\"col-sm-6 flexbox around-xs top-xs space-bottom-xs space-top-xs\"> <div class=\"overlay-box flexbox middle-xs center-xs overlay-holder\"><div class=\"overlay-box-offset offset-border shadow-medium border-color2 hide-xs\"><\/div> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"flexbox shadow-large img1\" data-size=\"500x500\" src=\"\/\/extendthemes.com\/assets\/mesmerize\/sections-images\/content-15.jpg\"><\/div> <\/div> <div class=\"col-sm-6\" data-type=\"column\"> <h2 class=\"\">Technical standardization activities&nbsp;<\/h2> <p class=\"\">Technical standardization is concerned with developing reference documents that define procedures, guidelines or shared concepts. These standards represent agreed and replicable approaches to perform specific operations. The process of creating standards involves different stakeholders, including researchers, manufacturing companies, end users and regulatory bodies, all related to a given field, be it a material, a product, a process or a service.
